Remember that grant extortion story revealed in the Blagojevich indictment? It turns out the then-Congressman he was trying to shake down for money is indeed current White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emauel.

Emanuel's brother Ari is a Hollywood agent, and reportedly the inspiration for a lead character in the television series Entourage. According to the indictment, Blagojevich smelled deep pockets, and in 2006 told then-Congressman Emanuel that his brother must hold a fundraiser for then-Governor Blagojevich. He then instructed his staff to hold the already budgeted grant money for a publicly supported school Emanuel backed, until he made good.

He never did, and if the White House's quick confirmation of Emanuel's identity as "Congressman A" is any indication, he's cooperating with investigators.
